Thermal analysis
Förbereda för nya miljöer
With climate change, our cities are getting warmer and it is predicted that we will also experience more and worse heat waves. Although Sweden does not often experience very high temperatures, even a moderate increase can have a severe negative impact on vulnerable groups. By reducing the amount of impervious surfaces and increasing the amount of trees and green spaces, the effects of heat waves can be reduced.
Services
We work with the Swedish Public Health Agency's method for mapping temperatures in the built environment. Using the results, we can show areas with high temperatures, which thus have a greater need for increased tree canopy coverage and more green spaces. This data creates a much better basis for decision-making and directly links trees to an effective measure to increase public health.
